Color Match Technician

Color Matcher
Privately owned chemical manufacturer is seeking a color matcher expert to join their team and color match coatings.

If you have experience in color matching at a manufacturing facility and are local, this could be a great opportunity for you!

Our client hosts monthly employee lunches and fun outings throughout the year!
Duties:
Perform color matching and paint / coating mixing based on formulas, samples, and customer specifications
Prepare and test color technologies and methods
Create custom color samples
Update and maintain color formula database
Compare mixtures against target colors, textures, and finishes
Adjust formulations to achieve desired results
Complete required testing documentation and reports
Support internal quality processes and AS9100 quality standards
Assist with production and technical tasks as assigned
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe laboratory environment utilizing 5S principles
Follow all company policies and procedures
Benefits Available
Technical Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED required
Color matching experience preferred
Paint, coatings, pigments, inks, chemical, laboratory, or manufacturing experience preferred
SAP experience preferred
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
Ability to maintain accurate records and documentation
Experience working with quality systems preferred
Ability to learn and support AS9011 quality requirements
