Job Description
This position is in the DoDEA HQ - Office of Chief of Staff Communications Division Communications Operations Branch in Peachtree, GA. The role is located on‑site at Peachtree City, GA. Telework, remote, and relocation options are not available. Salary range is $94,654 - $123,052 per year (GS 12). The work schedule is full‑time with up to 25% travel.

Responsibilities

Maintain liaison with staff agencies and DoDEA organizational elements to ensure correct, current, and accurate portrayal of information.

Evaluate the effectiveness of reach and products and determine the most effective ways to communicate DoDEA information and products.

Analyze, develop criteria for, and evaluate policies and procedures affecting organizational project objectives; schedule integrated projects, monitor progress, and prepare reports on progress and risks.

Design, develop, conduct, and evaluate innovative means to advertise and market communications/information products.

Develop and implement project plans aimed at communicating education‑centric themes, observances, celebrations, and DoDEA programs and initiatives.

Qualifications
Minimum Education Required:

High School/GED

Experience:

Proven experience in communications, marketing, or public relations with a track record of developing and executing communication strategies. Experience in evaluating reach, communicating at a government or educational organization level, and managing integrated media projects is required.
