Personal Lines Lead Account Manager
San Antonio’s fastest growing insurance and financial services firm is looking for a passionate, dedicated professional to join our team. Based in San Antonio, TX, the role focuses on personal lines account management, supporting client service needs, and driving new business growth.

Overview
As a Personal Lines Account Manager, you will support service needs of clients, perform marketing activities, and meet sales, service, and quality standards adopted by the agency.

Responsibilities

Pre-qualify and analyze prospects’ personal lines coverage needs; recommend coverages and prepare rating quotes and proposals to sell new accounts.

Actively solicit increases in coverage or round out accounts through sales to clients at every service contract.

Recommend excess and surplus coverages as needed to meet client insurance needs; educate clients about coverage limitations and documentation on the system.

Complete applications for insurance, obtain insured signatures, submit to eligible carriers, and follow up to ensure timely receipt of policies or quotations.

Actively seek referrals from the current client base to generate new business; follow up to generate new business using prospect database and system.

Actively refer clients to Life Benefits and Commercial Lines departments for solicitation of new business.

Qualifications

Active Texas General Lines Property & Casualty License, or willing to obtain license within 90 days of employment.

Preferred: Bilingual in English and Spanish.

Preferred: At least 1 year of insurance experience.

Strong oral and written communication skills to explain complex issues and interpret information.

Knowledge of insurance products, rating procedures, coverage and industry operations.

Familiarity with insurance markets and market references.
