Sales Coordinator - River Roast

River Roast is seeking an organized and guest-focused Sales Coordinator & Administrative Support professional to support sales, event coordination, and daily administrative operations. This role plays a key part in delivering exceptional service for private dining, group events, and restaurant functions.
Key responsibilities include:
Responding to incoming calls and inquiries with a professional, client-focused approach.
Supporting event sales efforts by assisting with proposals, contracts, and Banquet Event Orders (BEOs).
Coordinating event details with operations and culinary teams to ensure seamless execution.
Maintaining accurate records of client interactions, bookings, and sales activity.
Assisting in driving revenue through effective follow-up and upselling opportunities.
Administrative and financial support includes:
Performing clerical duties to support sales and restaurant operations.
Processing and reconciling daily sales, deposits, and cash reports.
Entering and tracking weekly sales and event data.
Reviewing and processing vendor invoices, ensuring pricing accuracy and resolving discrepancies.
Performing monthly vendor statement reconciliations and assisting with financial reports.
Maintaining organized and confidential personnel and business files.
Assisting with preparation of internal reports and employment-related documentation.
Operational support includes:
Assisting management with staffing coordination, including last-minute coverage needs.
Maintaining strong working relationships with team members and leadership.
Ensuring accurate communication of event details across departments.
Supporting a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Attending trainings and meetings as required.
Performing other duties as assigned.
Qualifications include:
Experience in hospitality, catering, restaurant sales, or administrative support preferred.
Strong organizational and multitasking skills in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office; POS or event systems experience a plus.
High attention to detail, especially with financial data.
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
