SpaceStars is South East Michigan's premier deck building company is looking to grow rapidly by expanding our footprint to multiple states and launching new products and services. Don't think of us as a construction business as much as a highly profitable startup.
What that means is that we are looking for people who can take ownership of aggressive goals and work cross-functionally to drive strategy and execution. The Head of Marketing will take ownership of current campaigns while building and executing local and regional marketing programs that drive awareness and highly qualified leads, allowing us to mitigate the seasonality inherent in our current, demand capture programs. Specifically, while expertise in PPC, SEO and other digital acquisition programs is a benefit, the right candidate will have a diverse set of sills and experiences across more traditional marketing channels as well as digital media (TV, Radio, Video), billboards and other local opportunities.

Must have a deep understanding of high-value, high consideration B2C or similar B2B lead gen. and sales cycles. We already have in-house support for marketing technology, lead tracking, paid acquisition (paid social, lead aggregation, PPC), and design.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and own the company's marketing strategy and growth roadmap.
- Evaluate existing marketing programs and recommend improvements.
- Identify and prioritize new customer acquisition opportunities across paid media, partnerships, content, events, sponsorships, referral programs, and other channels.
- Manage campaign planning and execution, working with internal resources and external vendors as needed.
- Create and test messaging, offers, and marketing programs that drive qualified leads and revenue.
- Establish reporting, measurement, and accountability around marketing performance.
- Build the foundation for a scalable marketing function as the company grows.
Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in marketing, campaign management, brand marketing, or a related role.
- 5+ years of experience directly owning lead generation results vs goals.
- 4+ yeas of experience in high-consideration B2C or B2B lead generation.
- Proven experience managing multi-channel campaigns from strategy through execution.
- Experience with local or regional marketing, media buying, sponsorships, or partnership marketing preferred.
- Strong background in creative direction, offer development, and campaign messaging.
- Experience with email marketing, prospecting campaigns, and lifecycle or nurture marketing.
- Experience managing organic social media and content strategy.
- Familiarity with video content planning and coordination, including YouTube and short-form social content.
- Strong vendor management and negotiation skills.
- Analytical mindset with ability to evaluate campaign performance and recommend improvements.
- Comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment with both strategic and hands‑on responsibilities.
- Excellent communication, organization, and project management skills.
Comp $100-$140K Base +Bonus
