Icenova makes ice cream that doesn’t look like ice cream.

Fried chicken ice cream. Mango‑shaped mango ice cream. Peach‑shaped peach ice cream. Mythology‑inspired drops that make people stop scrolling, film themselves trying it, and post about it.

Icenova has already gone from concept to major retail grocers, club stores, and independents.

Now we need the marketing leader who turns Icenova from a hot product into an iconic brand. Food can be art. Retail can be theater. Brands can create movements. We’re hiring the person who proves it for us.

The Role

This is not a “run the Instagram account” job. This is a founding marketing leader role with a Director title.

You’ll be Icenova’s first dedicated marketing hire, reporting directly to the founder, with full ownership of brand, growth, and content. You’ll inherit:

  • A product line people are already filming themselves trying
  • A national grocery footprint already secured, with more retailer expansion ahead
  • A $500K+ annual marketing budget to deploy how you see fit
  • A founder who knows marketing is his blind spot, and wants you to lead — not wait for direction
  • Zero legacy systems, zero inherited team (yet), zero “we’ve always done it this way”

You’ll build the systems behind how Icenova shows up in the world: the brand book, the social engine, the campaign machine, the influencer program, and the playbook that scales when we hit 5x the SKUs and 10x the retailers.

What You’ll Own

Brand Strategy & Positioning

Define Icenova’s voice, visual system, and positioning. Translate founder vision into scalable brand architecture. Build the brand book that becomes the Magna Carta.

Campaigns & Cultural Moments

Turn products into moments, moments into content, content into demand. Run integrated campaigns that drive awareness, trial, and retail velocity. Make people talk.

Social, Influencer & Creator Growth

Lead the brand on TikTok, Instagram, and wherever culture moves next. Build an influencer and creator program from scratch.

Product Launch & Innovation Marketing

Partner with the founder on naming, packaging, storytelling, and go‑to‑market for new SKUs and seasonal drops. Make every launch a moment.

Performance & Discipline

Manage the marketing budget. Track KPIs across awareness, engagement, trial, retail sell‑through, and acquisition cost. Build repeatable processes as we scale.

Who You Are

You are equal parts strategist, operator, and tastemaker.

You probably have:

  • 3+ years building brands in CPG, food, beverage, or consumer (or equivalent — we care about what you’ve done, not how long it took)
  • A track record of growing a brand on social with numbers you’re proud of
  • Strong instincts for culture, trends, and storytelling — you know why things go viral, not just that they did
  • Comfort working fast and scrappy in a small team, alongside a hands‑on founder
  • Bias toward action: you’d rather ship and iterate than perfect and wait

Bonus points if you have

  • Built a challenger brand from the early days through real retail traction
  • Helped make something go viral on purpose (and can explain the mechanics)
  • Managed influencer and creator programs at scale
  • Hands‑on experience with Meta Ads, TikTok Shop, Shopify, or Klaviyo
  • Worked closely with a founder‑CEO at a sub‑20‑person company before

Logistics

  • Location: Eastvale, CA — hybrid, 2–3 days/week in‑office preferred
  • Open to remote: for an unusually strong candidate. If you’re great, we’ll make it work.
  • Salary: $120,000–$150,000 base, with flexibility for the right person
