Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for a Director of Carrier Sales located in Memphis, TN, with flexibility for some remote work. The Director of Carrier Sales will oversee daily carrier operations, manage and build carrier relationships, and negotiate contracts to ensure effective logistics operations. Additional responsibilities include developing sales strategies, collaborating with third-party logistics partners, and coordinating with internal teams to meet performance goals.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in Sales and Sales Management, with the ability to achieve business goals
- Experience in Truckload Brokerage Services and a solid understanding of logistics and supply chain operations
- Proficiency in Negotiation and expertise in managing contracts with carriers and partners
- Proven leadership abilities with excellent interpersonal and decision-making skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field is preferred
- 5+ years of experience in sales or supply chain management, particularly in a leadership role
