Sports Producer – PT

Overview
CBS Sports Colorado is looking for a part‑time weekend sports producer. The role requires producing and editing weekend sportscasts, working closely with the weekend anchor to gather and create sports content, and assisting with live lockeroom newscasts during the Broncos season. The candidate must have a good working knowledge of the local sports landscape, be able to edit using Avid, and thrive in a fast‑paced environment while meeting deadlines.

Responsibilities

Produce and edit weekend sportscasts.

Collaborate with the weekend anchor to gather and create sports content.

Assist with producing and editing live lockeroom newscasts after Broncos games during the season.

Operate quick turnaround and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Journalism preferred.

Valid driver’s license with good driving record.

Editing experience with Avid.

Knowledge of Colorado sports teams.

Flexibility to work mornings, evenings, and weekends as needed.
