We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Installation Scheduler to join our team. This position plays a critical role in coordinating installation activities, scheduling customer appointments, supporting field installers, and ensuring a seamless experience from order completion through installation.

Position Summary
The Installation Scheduler is responsible for coordinating and scheduling shower door installation orders, assigning work to installation crews, communicating with customers, and ensuring all installation documentation is accurate and complete. This role serves as a key liaison between customers, installers, fabrication teams, and operations management to ensure projects are completed efficiently and on schedule.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, customer-service driven, and comfortable managing multiple schedules and priorities simultaneously.
Key Responsibilities
Schedule customer installation appointments and maintain daily installation calendars
Assign installation orders to field installation crews based on workload, geography, and project requirements
Coordinate installation routes and schedules with installers and operations personnel
Communicate with customers regarding installation appointments, scheduling updates, and service needs
Collaborate with fabrication teams, door builders, and plant leadership regarding order readiness and project status
Review, organize, and maintain installation documentation and work orders
Dispatch work orders through email, software platforms, or web-based systems
Create and maintain weekly and daily installation schedules
Support field technicians and installers with scheduling adjustments and job coordination
Respond to incoming customer calls and emails professionally and efficiently
Enter and maintain accurate customer, scheduling, and order information within company systems
Write and process sales orders for installation-related materials as needed
Provide timely updates and communication to Customer Service and Operations Management teams
Assist with special projects and administrative tasks as assigned
Promote teamwork, collaboration, and a positive customer experience
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED required
Experience in the glass industry, shower door industry, or related installation services environment required
Strong customer service and communication skills
Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Word, and Excel
Ability to communicate professionally with customers, installers, vendors, and internal teams
Ability to quickly learn company software and scheduling systems
Preferred Qualifications
Minimum of one year of customer service, scheduling, dispatching, sales support, or administrative experience
Previous experience coordinating field service technicians or installation crews
Experience working with work orders, route planning, or service scheduling systems
Basic math skills including percentages, fractions, and decimals
Experience supporting residential construction, remodeling, glass, or home improvement services

Work Environment
This is an onsite position working closely with customers, installation teams, operations personnel, and manufacturing staff. The role requires frequent communication via phone, email, and scheduling software while managing multiple installation projects and deadlines.
