Houston Regional Account Manager

About Our Role:
The Regional Account Manager for Houston will report directly to the National Sales Manager . This role is full-time and on-site in our Houston, TX office. Our business is growing, and we’re bringing on someone to serve as the on-the-ground sales and support for the Houston area.

What You Will Do:

Manage client relationships, respond to order requests, prepare quotes, and coordinate delivery logistics via phone, email, and in person

Develop a deep understanding of A-Rent’s rental fleet, customer base, and key industry applications

Train at our Houston and Chicago locations to fully understand A-Rent’s processes, before taking ownership of the Gulf Coast territory

Collaborate with our marketing and customer service teams to identify and convert new business opportunities

Travel regionally as needed to support key accounts and build strong customer partnerships

Represent A-Rent’s rental and calibration services with professionalism, urgency, and technical know-how

Perform additional duties as assigned

Qualifications:

3-5 years of experience in technical sales, account management, or a customer-facing role within the electrical, utility, or industrial sectors

Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent professional experience

Ability to sell strategically and communicate technical concepts with confidence

Familiarity with test equipment manufacturers such as Fluke, Megger, FLIR, or similar

Knowledge of grid substations, MV switchgear, utility-scale solar, or data centers is a strong plus

Excellent written, verbal, and problem‑solving skills
