District Sales Manager
NY/NJ area – Full-time
Your Responsibilities
Establishes and maintains strong customer relationships and executes sales of Bosch, Thermador and Gaggenau products.
Account Management
Achieves sales plan for Bosch, Thermador, and Gaggenau in assigned territory.
Develops and maintains relationships with all accounts.
Initiates and schedules orders with regional BSH inside sales.
Reviews and writes RA's following regional BSH policies and procedures.
Collaborates with other DSMs and operations to coordinate returned goods for sale in the OTC department.
Responsible for all assigned regional credits (including pricing errors, RMAs, etc.).
Assists in communicating regional Bosch, Thermador and Gaggenau programs and procedures (working with Director, OM, RSM and Irvine).
Maintains and develops all product displays including POP and display cleanliness.
Gathers and analyzes competitive regional pricing and marketing programs (volume rebates, buy programs, SPAs, spiffs) and coordinates needed Bosch, Thermador and Gaggenau programming for sales plan achievement.
Organizes regional Bosch, Thermador and Gaggenau trainings (Regional showroom, hotel locations and in-store trainings) with BSH Training department; executes consumer demos and other showroom activities.
Manages information flow to RSM on a daily/weekly basis.
Maintains a database of all Bosch, Thermador and Gaggenau accounts including sales performance, display achievements, training schedule.
Coordinates and develops Bosch, Thermador and Gaggenau specific events in and outside of the showroom and maintains product knowledge of all BSH brands.
Trade Focused Activities
Develop and maintain relationships with key market influencers.
Coordinate joint sales calls with dealer’s sales team focused on the Trade.
Drive sales through dealer based upon relationships developed directly with Designers, Architects, Builders and Remodelers.
Identify and support key kitchen studios (manage and sell to these accounts where applicable).
Sell Bosch, Thermador and Gaggenau brands to market influencers to become the specification on the project.
Focus on Single Family Home Builders both independently and collaboratively with dealer partners where appropriate.
Participate and execute national trade focused activities (NAHB Builder 20 Meetings, CEU Classes).
Work with RBSM to identify project leads and prepare presentations.
Gather and analyze competitive Trade programming.
Participate in local Trade Association meetings (ASID, AIA, NKBA, NARI, NAHB).
Host trade meetings in BSH Showroom/Sales Center and dealer showrooms.
Implement market strategies to increase revenue in the builder channel with RSM and RBSM.
Your Profile
Bachelor’s degree – Preferred
7-10 Years of Experience (Sales) – Required
Domestic Travel by car, airplane, train, etc. – can include overnight and weekends
Must be able to drive to visit assigned accounts daily in territory
Must have an active driver's license in good standing with the DMV

Minimum of 2 years negotiating experience

Appliance experience preferred
Candidate must live in the NY/NJ territory and be willing to travel
Travel Percentage – 75%
Salary range for New York City – $97,074 - $129,432
Salary range for Long Island and lower state cities – $93,191 - $124,255
Your Pay & Benefits
Pay range: $89,308 - $119,077 (location specific). Compensation may vary based on specific skillset and work location. If the position is bonus or incentive eligible, payments range from 0% to 200% of target as outlined in the plan document.

40 hours of paid personal leave (Production Line).
12 days of paid holidays per year (max 8 hours paid per day).
