Job Summary

The University of Mary Washington, an NCAA Division III institution located in historic and vibrant Fredericksburg, VA, is seeking a part time Esports Broadcast Lead for the University’s Esports Program. The Esports Broadcast Lead is responsible for the technical execution, management, and strategic growth of the UMW Esports broadcast department. This role oversees the entire production pipeline from student training and asset creation to live stream management, ensuring a professional, high-quality broadcast that aligns with the university’s brand and competitive standards.

Required KSAs/Competencies/Qualifications

Advanced proficiency in vMix, NDI workflows, and OBS.

Knowledge of technical troubleshooting of streaming hardware/software.

Knowledge of collegiate esports broadcast regulations.

Required Experience

Experience as a student-athlete, relative esports competition experience, or broadcast production experience.

Required Education

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university in a related field or equivalent training and experience.

Required Licensure

CPR/AED/First Aid certifications. This is required by first day of employment.
