We’re looking for a detail-obsessed, Adobe-fluent Junior Production Artist to join our studio team in Plano. This is a hands‑on production role — you’ll own smaller projects independently and support the team on larger ones, executing print and digital assets that go out the door looking right every time.
If you’re a recent grad or early in your career and want to learn production from the inside of a fast‑moving creative agency, this is where you do that.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
Adapt & version creative assets across print and digital formats — different sizes, media, & specs
Execute file corrections & updates based on direction from Art Directors & Sr. Production Artists
Build and maintain organized, properly named file structures
Prep files for internal review using established templates and batch workflows
Verify your own work for accuracy and brand consistency before it moves forward
Flag issues early — we value the question over the wrong assumption
WHAT YOU BRING
Required:
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite on Mac: InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop
Working knowledge of print production basics: CMYK, bleeds, resolution, file formats
Understanding of digital asset specs for web, social, and digital media
Sharp attention to detail — catching the thing others miss is a core part of this job
Ability to juggle multiple deadlines without dropping them
Portfolio or coursework samples showing production and/or design work
Nice to Have:
0–2 years of experience in an agency, studio, or production environment
Familiarity with project management tools (we use Workfront)
Curiosity about AI tools and how they apply to production workflows
WHAT TO EXPECT
You’ll work fully on‑site in Plano alongside collaborative Creative and Production teams.
As you build trust and prove your accuracy and instincts, responsibility grows. File release to print vendors is a milestone we extend to Production Artists who’ve earned it — this is a first visible marker of progression here. This role reports to our senior Production Manager but will work on projects led by Creative Directors and Art Directors.
WHY PROPAC
We’re a small agency where your work actually ships. You won’t sit in a queue waiting for meaningful projects — junior or not, if you’re reliable and sharp, you’ll be doing real production work on real client assets.
HOW TO APPLY
Submit your resume and a portfolio link or PDF samples. We want to see how you think about production, not just what software you know.
Propac is an equal opportunity employer.
