Content Writer & Researcher

To establish Be Balanced as a leading authority in functional health, the part-time contract Content Writer & Researcher will launch and manage a new blog and Substack channel, producing long-form content that is SEO-driven and engaging while conducting thorough industry research.
Key responsibilities

Launch and manage the Be Balanced blog and Substack channel, focusing on content strategy, SEO, and execution
Research and monitor the functional health industry to identify relevant topics and trends for content creation
Produce one long-form piece per week, ensuring content is accessible and aligns with the brand's voice and educational goals

Required qualifications

At least 3 years of experience producing long-form content for health, wellness, or science-backed brands
Genuine expertise in functional health with strong research skills and the ability to engage with complex concepts
Proven experience with SEO fundamentals, including keyword research and content strategy development
Ghostwriting experience, demonstrating the ability to write in another's voice effectively
Strong time management skills with a focus on weekly publishing deadlines
