Summary of Responsibilities
The Creative and Production Director provides hands‑on leadership over Eastwind's technical production and creative output – two of the key elements that shape the Sunday pillar and tell the story of what God is doing in our community. This role is responsible for the excellence, culture, and health of Eastwind's AVL production, volunteer technical team, and creative ministry, while ensuring that weekend services run smoothly and that God’s story is communicated compellingly through video, graphics, and social media.
- Ensure the weekend services run smoothly with as minimal distractions as possible as defined by Sunday Service Wins.
- Work closely with the Lead Pastor and Worship Pastor to create opportunities for creative elements during the service aligned with the rules of engagement funnel.
- Scheduling and PCO management.
- Assist in coaching of on‑stage communicators to ensure the vision and heart are communicated clearly while also not assuming everyone is familiar with church.
Oversight of Production Team and Elements (30%)
- Volunteer recruitment, care, and training.
- Installation and maintenance of audio/visual/streaming equipment.
- Weekly management of slides (ProPresenter), lights, sound, and streaming of services.
Creative (30%)
- Film and edit videos that share what God is doing in the lives of Eastwind.
- Graphic support for Eastwind’s pillars.
Additional Administrative Support (10%)
- Website maintenance, ensuring information is updated such as service times and events. Coding is not a required or expected skill.
Profile, Skills & Experience
- Experience in AVL production and live mixing with additional skills in videography and graphic design.
- A shepherding heart with the ability to recruit, develop, and care for volunteers.
- Well organized, detail oriented, and able to manage multiple moving parts in a weekend service environment.
- Skilled in ProPresenter, Planning Center Online (PCO), and familiarity with live streaming workflows.
- Proficient in video editing and graphic design tools (Adobe Suite or equivalent).
- Strong communicator with the relational intelligence to work closely with pastoral staff.
- A passion for the local church and a commitment to Eastwind’s mission, vision, and culture.
