The person will be responsible to lead and develop 360' marketing campaigns based on EU strategy and creative execution to drive brand demand (connect, engage, inspire) and help sell in and sell thru to reach local market's KPIs (revenue, margin, traffic and conversion)Primary accountabilitiesBrand activity:Put the consumer first - be consumer obsessed! Scout news ideas/solution that will enable the brand to connect and engage with the target consumersBuild seasonal local GTM plan, through the Go To Market process, incl. detailed marketing activities (media plan, PR, digital, events, account phygital activation) for wholesale and Brand activations with a clear focus on mega cities (eg. Paris)Understand the company strategy and direction and integrate the digital led media plan accordinglySupport EMEA Marketing team to create the media planning brief (highly focused on digital)Support the development at EMEA level, of strong purpose led brand activations, with inclusivity and diversity as key values, thinking omnichannel, and executing them in a most effective way for the represented marketplaceWholesale:Build sustainable trade relationships with top accounts to ensure that Timberland is top-of-mind with key retailersDevelop, lead and execute 360-degrees activations with local key accounts partnersDevelop and reinforce energy stories for Tier 0 and Tier 1 distribution doors, building strong relationships with these players, crucial for the brand edge and positioningEnsure co-op activities are based on our brand campaign and in best value for the brand in line with the co-op budget and track the results against the set kpi'sCheck on competitors to benchmark against them and find alternative solutions to stand out at all distribution levelPR & Influence:Support seasonal strategic brief to local PR agency in alignment with HQ, advising on brand direction, business priorities and strategiesDevelop and implement a local PR plan that supports brand positioning, media outreach, and reputation managementDevelop a media relations strategy, seeking high-level placements in print, broadcast and online mediaPlan and budget for PR events, initiatives and seeding programs‚ÄØthat increase the quality and quantity of brand placementsProvide input to central teams on potential local brand partnership/ ambassadors/influencers to work in authentic way and to establish long term relationship withDay-to-Day: Monitor and report media coverage, Press material Translations, Sample managementBudget Control & Marketing Measurement:Manage local budget on an on-going basis, to ensure that all activities are cost-effective and within budgetEnsure constant evaluation of budget spent to ensure effective return on investmentReport on investment initiatives through relevant KPIs trackingSkills for SuccessYou should be a strategic and creative marketer with a passion for brand storytelling and consumer experience, with:Required University Degree with Marketing programs and studies6+ years relevant experienceBased in Paris with relevant network within the City cultural hubs, community and main agency landscapeDeep knowledge and understanding of the footwear/apparel industry and its distribution in France and BeneluxSignificant wholesale trade marketing experience in a premium branded environment, preferably with footwear product marketing experienceRelevant experience and relationship with Tier 0 and Tier 1 accounts is a plusDeep marketing knowledge, with a strong sensitivity to the digital media area (paid social media, brand digital activities and others digital platforms)Analytical skills: able to read business figures and react against itMS Office (Outlook, Excel and Powerpoint) and iWork (Pages, Numbers and Keynote) proficiencyGoogle Analytics experience is a plusStrong interpersonal, presentation and negociation skillsGood communication skillsDrive, enthusiasm and flexibilityTeamworker and think in solutionsFrench mother tongue with fluent English - Dutch is a plus.
