Production Technician

Responsibilities
Operate and monitor equipment and facilities, ensuring quality and adherence to standard operating procedures.
Perform housekeeping tasks including cleaning, sorting, and maintaining equipment.
Engage in various seasonal tasks: inspecting and maintaining seed crops, managing seed inventory, and supporting harvesting and packaging.
Participate in daily team meetings and communicate effectively with colleagues.
Work in outdoor and indoor environments, adapting to all weather conditions.
Essential Skills
Previous experience in manufacturing, production, or farming.
Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 60 lbs, walking, and climbing stairs.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to follow directions.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Proficiency in English for effective communication.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED preferred for consideration as a full-time employee.
Knowledge of production agriculture and plant operations.
Ability to operate PIT trucks (forklift) with training.
Flexibility to work rotational shifts, overtime, and weekends as needed.

Work Environment
The work environment is physical and requires personal protective equipment such as hard hats, steel-toed boots, and hearing protection. Training begins with a mix of classroom and on-the-job learning during the first shift. Must Haves:
- Previous experience in manufacturing/production/farming
- Ability to work 1st/2nd/3rd depending on the team they are assigned to. They could be working 5x8, 4x10 or 3 on/3 off depending on business needs.
• 1st Shift: 6:00a - 2:30p (or possibly 12 hour shifts - 6:00am - 6:00pm) $19.50
• 2nd shift: Varies - Could start at 11:00am or 2:30pm. $20.50
• 3rd shift: 10:00p-6:30a - Varies $20.25

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.50 - $20.50/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
