This role offers the flexibility of independent work with the stability of a W2 position. We handle the scheduling, customer acquisition, and administrative support so you can focus on delivering outstanding service and completing projects with confidence.

Responsibilities

Perform a variety of residential handyman and home repair services

Complete carpentry, drywall repair, painting, tiling, and general maintenance tasks

Perform minor plumbing and electrical repairs

Diagnose repair issues and recommend practical solutions

Communicate professionally with homeowners and customers

Maintain accurate job notes, invoices, and updates through smartphone applications

Ensure all work meets company quality and safety standards

Work independently while coordinating with office staff as needed

Maintain a professional appearance and excellent customer service at all times

Requirements

Must Have

5+ years of handyman, residential construction, or home remodeling experience

Strong experience across multiple trades including carpentry, drywall, painting, and tiling

Proficiency in drywall repair and mudding

Ability to perform minor plumbing and electrical work

Own a complete set of hand and power tools required for the position

Own a truck or van with valid insurance

Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

Must live within 15–20 miles of the South Bay / Beach Cities area

Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

Comfortable using smartphone applications for scheduling, documentation, and invoicing

Ability to pass a background check and drug screening

Strong communication and customer service skills

Nice to Have

Leadership or crew lead experience

Customer-facing experience with a strong service mindset

Familiarity with project management or scheduling software
