Description

Primary Function
Process incoming donations to be listed on approved online marketplaces, data entry, packing, shipping, photographing, testing and researching to maximize sales.

Essential Functions

Performing quality control on donations to be listed on approved E-commerce marketplaces

Receive and sort items from outside stores

Able to list products on marketplace with pictures and description of merchandise to bring maximum value

Customer service and communication with internal and external customers

Meeting the required daily productivity quotas

Data entry and daily tracking of items listed, sold and shipped

Keep working areas clean, organized and free of hazards

Follow all Loss Prevention guidelines and security measures

Ensure all safety standards are met

Knowledge of E-commerce processes

Familiarity with photography

Able to read, write, and speak English clearly and fluently

Excellent computer and Internet skills

Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as: addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, percentage, and average

Ability to apply concepts of basic math when working on spreadsheets and reports

To perform this job successfully, an individual must have knowledge of online programs such as Google, Amazon.com, and Microsoft Office products, Windows, and Word

General experience with Excel and doing online research is strongly desired

Perform other duties as assigned

Physical Requirements

While performing this job, the employee is required to stand, walk, sit, use hands or feel objects, tools or controls, reach with hands and arms, climb stairs, balance, stoop, kneel, push, pull, crouch or crawl. The employee may also be exposed to a hazardous environment due to wires

Most activities involve repetitive upper body movement and bending. The employee must regularly lift and/or move a minimum of 25 pounds

Must have good hand-eye coordination. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus

Typical Work Environment

While performing this job, the employe is exposed to weather conditions prevalent at the time but works primarily indoors and/or at facility entrance; the noise level in the work environment is usually moderate

While performing this job, the employee may be exposed to some hazards waste dust and dirtWill possibly be working alongside/sharing best practices with others with social, mental, and emotional disabilities

Employment

Attendance at required Training and Development - This position requires participation in mandatory training sessions and professional development outside typical working hours

Flexible Full-Time or Part-Time - This position may be classified as either part-time or full-time depending on organizational needs

Qualifications

Some work experience or knowledge or E-commerce preferred
