Description
West Fraser's Opelika Sawmill is hiring for a Reliability Technician role.

What you will do:

Adhere to all mill safety and operating guidelines

Collect equipment condition data to prevent unplanned failures

Conduct routine preventive maintenance (PM's) such as maintaining equipment fluid levels, ensure proper lubrication, and monitor equipment health

Utilize predictive technologies including but not limited to vibration, thermal imaging (IR), and ultrasonic emission (UE)

What you need to be successful:

Must have demonstrated good attendance, safety, and work record

Experience in industrial applications

Pass our Mechanical Reasoning Assessment with a minimum score

Preferred Qualifications:

2-year technical degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience

Training and/or expertise in condition monitoring and sensors

Training and/or experience in Predictive Maintenance Technologies

MLT certification
