Job Title: Content Strategist – Independent Contractor (1099)
Contract Rate: $21.63 – $24.04 per hour. Final rate negotiable based on experience and delivered product.
About the role As a Content Strategist, you will create compelling long‑form content for an enterprise client in the senior living industry. The engagement is a 12‑month contract with the option to extend up to 12 months.
The work includes writing website content, blog posts, and marketing copy based on keyword research and competitor analysis to engage target audiences.
Contractors may work on‑site at Hurrdat’s office and participate in team collaboration sessions.
Duties and Responsibilities Write high‑quality content using AI in a fast‑paced environment with tight deadlines.
Research client branding, industry, and competitive keywords to produce content that fulfills search engine optimization and local search marketing goals.
Collaborate with the Senior Content Strategist, editors, and other team members to develop and execute content marketing efforts.
Ensure content adheres to both client project and agency standards.
Deliver work according to agreed‑upon project timelines.
Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Degree in Advertising, Communications, English, Journalism, Marketing, or related field.
Experience in content creation, copywriting, editing, or similar marketing positions.
Familiarity with SEO‑driven keyword research (preferred).
Strong editing skills for reviewing own work for spelling and grammar, word choice, organization, and formatting.
Experience creating or editing content for senior living or related healthcare industries is strongly preferred.
Excellent collaboration, teamwork, organizational, and problem‑solving skills.
Willingness to stay up‑to‑date on digital marketing offerings and trends.
