Remote Senior Acquisitions Editor – Part-Time

Berrett-Koehler Publishers in Oakland is seeking a part-time Senior Acquisitions Editor to acquire and develop twelve to fifteen nonfiction book projects yearly. This fully remote position requires candidates to have a minimum of five years’ experience in acquisitions editing and knowledge in relevant subjects such as business and societal change.
The ideal candidate will conduct outreach to find authors and provide editorial oversight while working in a collaborative environment. Compensation is set at $56,493 annually for 60% time work, with benefits such as health insurance and a 401(k) plan.
