We are seeking a Junior Graphic Designer to join a Corporate Communications Digital & Design team with a strong background in creating static graphics, social‑first creative, and culture‑driven campaigns. This role will focus heavily on digital media, social campaigns, email marketing, and motion design.

Ideal Background

Experience designing high‑volume social media creative for brands, agencies, editorial, beauty, fashion, wellness, or CPG companies

Strong portfolio showcasing social graphics, motion design, digital campaigns, banners, email creative, and promotional assets

Comfortable working within established brand guidelines and template systems

Experience producing assets directly in Adobe Creative Suite, especially Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and After Effects

Strong eye for typography, layout, pacing, and social‑first storytelling

Ability to execute quickly, take feedback well, and manage multiple fast‑turnaround projects

Key Responsibilities

Develop visually engaging graphic designs for:

Digital marketing campaigns

Social media platforms

Websites

Email marketing

Other digital communication channels

Create print materials including:

Banners

Posters

Infographics

Promotional collateral

Produce motion graphics and animations for:

Video content

Social campaigns

Multimedia projects

Collaborate with Digital & Design, Communications, and cross‑functional teams to execute creative concepts aligned with brand and campaign objectives.

Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and maintaining high‑quality standards.

Stay current on emerging trends, tools, and technologies in graphic and motion design.

Create and maintain on‑brand templates and visual guidelines for internal and external communications.

Required Qualifications

1‒3 years of graphic design experience with a portfolio showcasing:

Static graphics

Digital campaigns

Social creative

Motion graphics / animation

Proficiency in:

Adobe Photoshop

Adobe Illustrator

Adobe InDesign

Adobe After Effects

Experience with Figma, Canva, and Google Slides is a plus.

Strong understanding of:

Typography

Color theory

Branding

Visual storytelling

Design principles

Familiarity with AI‑assisted creative tools and interest in leveraging AI to support creative workflows.

Experience creating motion graphics and animated content.

Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.

Creative thinker with a strong eye for modern digital and social design.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience working in:

Agency environments

Health & wellness

Beauty

Fashion

Editorial

Consumer products (CPG)

Video editing experience is a plus.

Project management experience is a plus.

Copywriting experience is a plus.

Must be located in the NYC metro area and comfortable working onsite in a hybrid environment three days per week.
