Event Designer

We are a leading event rental company seeking a dedicated Event Designer to manage client relationships and drive sales from initial contact through event execution.
Responsibilities

Build strong relationships with clients via inbound calls, emails and showroom appointments.
Follow a templated sales process from first interaction to order preparation.
Evaluate and anticipate client event requirements to determine appropriate rental needs and make expert recommendations.
Input requested rental items and client information into the Point of Rental (POR) system, ensuring accuracy of all logistics and details.
Serve as an intermediary between the client and the operations team, providing necessary information for successful event execution.
Process credit card payments and conduct in‑person showroom appointments.
Apply up‑selling techniques, follow‑up procedures and Zendesk chat best practices according to the developed sales process.
Attend sales coaching sessions with the Sales Director to improve skills.
Meet and exceed weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual sales metrics (total sales and sales activities).
Qualifications

2‑4 years of account representative/inbound sales experience, preferably in hospitality.
Experience using a CRM; we will train on our system.
Track record of making deals and a passion for selling.
Ability to work full‑time Monday‑Friday with up to two Saturdays per month in the showroom.
Effective communicator who can motivate others and respond to their needs.
Friendly, team‑oriented, and comfortable with a fast‑moving environment.
Detail‑oriented and able to maintain accuracy in orders.
Receptive to coaching, capable of taking feedback without ego, and eager to grow.
Compensation & Benefits

Base Salary: $50,000 – $60,000 per year (DOE).
Quarterly bonus up to $12,000 per year; OTE $62,000 – $72,000.
Uncapped commission for new accounts.
Benefits Program: 4 weeks PTO, paid holidays, dental insurance, and health insurance (employee 75%, dependents 25%) after 90 days.
