About the Role

The Company is seeking a Vice President of Sales to lead the strategic direction and management of the sales force. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and overseeing sales forecasting, planning, and budgeting processes. This role requires a leader who can ensure the quality, accuracy, and consistency of these processes, and who can integrate them with the company's overall planning. The VP of Sales will also be accountable for the productivity and effectiveness of the sales organization, fostering close relationships with the General Manager and Head of Sales, and leading initiatives to optimize sales processes and programs.

Applicants for the Vice President of Sales position at the company should have a four-year college degree, with a preference for a Master's in Business Administration or equivalent. A minimum of 5 years' experience in a business-to-business sales environment, including sales management, and at least 5 years in a sales operation, business planning, or sales support management role, is required. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing corporate initiatives, be proficient in PC and technology, and have a strong background in sales force effectiveness. The role demands a thought leader who can recommend and develop new strategies, KPIs, and programs to ensure the success of the sales and customer success teams. The VP of Sales will be measured on the achievement of the company's sales, revenue, profit, customer retention, and strategic objectives, and must be adept at fostering an organization of continuous process improvement.
