About the Role
Overall Purpose: Drive digital customer growth across AT&T's consumer and business digital ecosystem. We are seeking a commercially-minded digital leader who combines P&L ownership, category merchandising expertise, and deep understanding of web performance to drive measurable growth across AT&T's digital ecosystem. This role owns the end-to-end performance of digital channels, including traffic, conversion, merchandising, and customer experience—ensuring the site and app function as high-performing “digital storefronts” that maximize revenue, engagement, and customer lifetime value. You will partner across marketing, product, technology, and analytics teams to optimize how customers discover, evaluate, and purchase, while continuously improving site performance, merchandising strategy, and digital conversion.
Responsibilities
Digital P&L Ownership & Commercial Performance
Own and optimize digital channel performance with a focus on revenue growth, conversion, and customer value
Manage key business levers including traffic, merchandising, pricing/offer positioning, and conversion optimization
Translate performance data into actionable strategies that improve digital sales, attach rates, and cross-sell/upsell outcomes
Drive accountability across teams for delivering measurable digital business impact
Category Merchandising & Digital Storefront Strategy
Lead category merchandising strategy across web and app—ensuring products, offers, and experiences are optimized to drive engagement and conversion
Define how products and services are presented, prioritized, and personalized across customer journeys
Partner with product and marketing teams to align launch strategies, offer placement, and promotional visibility
Continuously optimize digital shelf strategy based on performance insights, demand signals, and customer behavior
Demand, Traffic & Acquisition Optimization
Own digital demand strategy across channels, including SEO, affiliate partnerships, and digital acquisition ecosystems
Ensure traffic is high-quality, intent-driven, and aligned to conversion pathways
Partner with marketing to connect campaign investment with on-site experience and conversion performance
Continuously optimize funnel performance from entry to navigation to purchase
Customer Journey & Conversion Experience
Design and optimize end-to-end customer journeys with a strong focus on conversion, ease of purchase, and cross-product engagement
Leverage customer insights and behavioral data to ensure the right products, content, and offers surface at the right time
Drive initiatives that improve buy flows, cart experience, cross-sell, and digital self-service adoption
Advocate for customer-first experiences while balancing commercial outcomes and operational scalability
Web Performance, Technology & Innovation
Own site and app performance in partnership with technology teams, focusing on speed, reliability, and conversion impact
Identify friction points in the digital experience and lead efforts to improve load times, navigation, and transaction success
Champion a test-and-learn culture, using experimentation to drive continuous improvement
Explore and scale personalization and AI-driven experiences to enhance merchandising and customer engagement
Leverage advanced analytics to monitor traffic, conversion, merchandising effectiveness, and customer behavior
Translate data into clear insights that inform business decisions, digital strategy, and prioritization
Build a culture of data-driven decision-making and performance accountability
Partner with analytics teams to create dashboarding and measurement frameworks tied to business outcomes
Qualifications
Proven experience owning or influencing digital P&L, revenue, or eCommerce performance. Strong background in category merchandising, digital storefront strategy, or product-led growth. Deep understanding of web performance, conversion optimization, and customer journey design. Track record of partnering across marketing, product, technology, and analytics in a matrixed environment. Experience leveraging data and experimentation to drive measurable digital growth. Executive presence with the ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders and drive alignment.
Education / Experience
Bachelor's degree (BS/BA) desired. 5+ years of related experience. Certification is required in some areas.

Compensation
Our Lead Digital Customer Growth earns between $143,800 - $215,800 USD Annual. Individual starting salary within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.
