Marketing Coordinator

The Marketing Coordinator supports the day-to-day execution of Healthy New Albany's marketing and communications activities. Working under the direction of the Grants and Communications Manager, this role is responsible for maintaining HNA's digital presence, producing routine communications, and promoting our programs and events to the community. This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career professional passionate about mission-driven work to grow their skills in nonprofit marketing.
Key Responsibilities Manage HNA's social media channels by developing and executing a content calendar, creating engaging posts, monitoring engagement, and growing community engagement across platforms
Maintain and update the organization's website with current program, event, and organizational information
Produce and distribute routine email newsletters and marketing communications
Create promotional materials for programs, events, and campaigns using graphic design tools (e.g. Canva)
Capture photos and short-form video content at programs, events and community activities for use across digital platforms
Assist with content gathering by coordinating with program staff
Track and report on social media and communications metrics, sharing insights with the Grants and Communications Manager
Support events and programs with on-site marketing as needed
Qualifications Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, public relations, or a related field, or equivalent experience
Strong written communication skills and attention to detail
Demonstrated experience managing social media accounts (professional, organizational, or personal projects welcome)
Experience creating and editing short-form video content for social media platforms (TikTok, Instagram Reels, etc.) strongly preferred
Familiarity with basic graphic design tools such as Canva
Familiarity with email marketing platforms such as Constant Contact is a plus
Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a small team
