Overview
Adeo InterActive is seeking a creative, detail-oriented Short-Form Video & Event Content Specialist to support the marketing strategy for a major innovation-focused event taking place in Limerick, Ireland.

This role is primarily focused on creating and editing short-form video content for digital marketing, social media, and event promotion. The ideal candidate has strong experience turning event updates, speaker announcements, partner news, programming themes, written content, and raw source material into polished, engaging videos that build awareness, credibility, and excitement.

This position will also support email newsletter content, including writing, formatting, and repurposing event updates for a professional audience. However, short-form video creation and editing are the main priorities for this role.

Because this is a first-year event, the right person will be comfortable helping shape the voice, look, and feel of the event’s digital content from the ground up. We are looking for someone who can bring creative ideas, work independently, stay organized, and create content that feels polished, professional, and engaging.

This is a remote contract position, but candidates based in Ireland are strongly preferred. Candidates in or near Limerick are especially encouraged to apply, as there may be an opportunity to support onsite content capture during the event.

Primary Responsibilities
The Short-Form Video & Event Content Specialist will support the event’s digital marketing efforts, with a strong focus on video content.

Responsibilities include:

Creating and editing short-form promotional videos for LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, email campaigns, and other digital channels

Turning event updates, speaker announcements, sponsor news, partner updates, and programming themes into engaging video concepts

Editing raw footage, stock footage, event assets, interviews, speaker clips, graphics, and other source material into polished promotional content

Creating motion graphics, text overlays, captions, transitions, and branded video templates

Developing video scripts, hooks, captions, and short promotional blurbs

Repurposing written event information into short-form video content

Creating event countdown videos, speaker announcement videos, sponsor or partner highlight videos, programming teasers, and promotional clips

Supporting email newsletter creation, including writing, formatting, and organizing event updates

Creating occasional static social media posts, carousel posts, or promotional graphics when needed

Helping maintain a consistent publishing schedule across social media and email

Coordinating with internal team members to gather information, assets, approvals, and deadlines

Maintaining organized files, templates, drafts, video assets, captions, and creative materials

Tracking basic content performance and making recommendations to improve engagement, reach, and conversions

Video Experience We Are Looking For
This role requires more than general social media or marketing experience. We are specifically looking for someone with proven experience creating and editing short-form video content.

Strong candidates should be able to show examples of:

Short-form promotional videos

Social media reels or shorts

Speaker or interview clips

Motion graphics

Brand storytelling videos

Event recaps or highlight-style videos

B2B or professional marketing content

Videos edited for LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, or email marketing

Qualifications

Experience creating and editing short-form video content for social media, digital marketing, events, brands, or campaigns

Strong understanding of what makes video content engaging, polished, and platform-appropriate

Ability to write clear hooks, captions, scripts, and short promotional copy

Experience with tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, CapCut, Descript, Canva, Opus Clip, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar platforms

Ability to take limited source material and turn it into polished, compelling content

Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple content pieces at different stages of development

Good judgment around professional tone, brand alignment, and audience relevance

Ability to receive feedback and make revisions quickly and thoughtfully

Comfort working with a new brand, event, or campaign that is still evolving

Interest in innovation, entrepreneurship, technology, business, events, or global collaboration is a plus

Potential availability to support onsite content capture during the event in Limerick

This is a remote contract position. However, the event will take place in Limerick, Ireland, and there may be an opportunity for the selected contractor to support onsite content capture during part of the event.

This is not required for all applicants, but candidates who are based in or near Limerick, or who would be available to attend the event onsite, should mention this in their application.
