Position Summary

We are seeking a dynamic Media Director to lead a CPG client’s omnichannel media planning initiatives across multiple Retail Media Networks. The role involves developing media strategies, executing media buys, and driving campaign analysis to meet client objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver effective media strategies and plans using research tools, client data, and media landscape insights.
  • Research, develop, and share perspectives on new client opportunities.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships throughout campaign development and implementation.
  • Translate media strategies into tactical plans that achieve client objectives and fit within budget.
  • Establish and nurture relationships with Retail Media Network partners; stay current on upcoming offerings.
  • Negotiate vendor deals to secure media availability, placement, advantageous rates, and added value.
  • Liaise between media and account teams to ensure projects meet milestones, timelines, and deliverables.
  • Monitor media buys, manage make‑goods and credits, and update buy software as needed.
  • Analyze and report on media campaign results.
  • Maintain documentation of creative assets and costs for planned and placed media activity.

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of media experience in an agency setting.
  • Experience with retail media networks such as Walmart Connect, Target Roundel, Albertsons, and Kroger.
  • Track record of mentoring junior team members.
  • Client‑facing experience.

Preferred Attributes

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong mathematical and Excel skills; ability to analyze large data sets.
  • Proactive, detail‑oriented, and able to anticipate potential issues.
  • Ability to review campaign performance against success indicators and report findings.
