DPP is seeking two web application developers for an opportunity with our client in the healthcare insurance industry. Work location: partially onsite (Tues., Wed., Thurs.) and as needed. Hours: 9 AM – 5 PM; overtime as needed. Duration: 12 months. Term: W2 position.
Position summary:
The developer III will be focused primarily on recoding the My Insurance Manager provider website.
This is a multiyear effort, and involves daily design calls, coding, and typical Agile ceremonies.
Great communication skills are key as there is a lot of interaction with the business/customers, reliable, honest, fast learner, and thorough.
Developer #1 - required technologies:
Front-end skills, including HTML, JavaScript, Vue.js (or React), CSS, Adobe Experience Manager (AEM)
Have to have: Bootstrap or PrimeVue
Developer #2 – required technologies:
Back-end skills, including OpenShift, Java, Microservices
Nice to have: Quarkus
Minimum required work experience:
4 years of application development, systems testing, or other job-related work experience
Required education/equivalencies:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or other job-related degree;
OR, Associates degree in CS, IT, or other job-related degree plus 2 years of work-related experience;
OR, 4 years job-related work experience (total 8 years without a degree)
About the team:
The Commercial Web team has 2 team leads, 1 manager, 1 System Designer, 1 Analyst, and 7 or so developers.
The team fosters strong collaboration and mutual support.
