Manager Of Internal Communications
We're looking for a Manager of Internal Communications, someone who's ready to be part of a growing team with amazing opportunities. The Manager of Internal Communications helps lead the development and execution of internal communications programs. The Manager will ensure delivery of clear, consistent, and timely messaging through a variety of channels and leadership communications. Collaborating with others, the manager plays a key role in developing communication plans, supporting organizational initiatives, and ensuring employees are connected to the organization's mission, values, and priorities. Job Duties & Responsibilities
Manage the development and execution of internal communications strategies and plans aligned with organizational priorities.
Implement data-informed communication tactics to reach diverse audiences, including team members, physicians, nurses, and frontline staff.
Manage day‑to‑day execution of systemwide communications, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and timeliness.
Develop and execute internal communications across key channels, including: Systemwide newsletters (team member, leader, nursing, physician editions), Digital signage and screen content, Intranet articles, announcements, and campaigns; Video content in partnership with creative teams.
Manage day‑to‑day content updates for digital screens, ensuring relevance and consistency.
Manage editorial planning and production of targeted newsletters.
Track performance metrics and recommend improvements based on engagement data.
Partners with internal stakeholders (HR, clinical teams, operations, etc.) to advise and support communication needs including coordinating messaging and positioning as needed.
Develop communication strategies and plans for program launches, updates, changes and initiatives.
Partners with others to recommend scenario plans and preparation to mitigate crisis.
Manage and recommend internal communications strategies and plans for urgent or sensitive issues, including employee updates, FAQs, and leadership messages.
Lead, manage and mentor junior team members or contributors.
Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines and quality standards are met.
Skills & Requirements
Bachelor's degree in public relations, journalism, communications or related field required
6 years of experience with internal communications, corporate communications, or employee engagement required
2 years of formal leadership required
Experience in healthcare or large complex organizations preferred
