Position Summary

Newrez is seeking a strategic marketing leader to serve as Senior Director, Digital Marketing Innovation. This highly collaborative, cross‑functional role is charged with building and leading an innovation roadmap to capitalize on emerging technology, platforms, and techniques. The role requires deep cross‑functional collaboration and expertise in SEO/AEO, paid digital, CRO, and digital communications channels across customer lifecycles. The ideal candidate is highly experienced in digital marketing and deeply passionate about AI, emerging technologies, and their role in unlocking business transformation and customer experience.
Duties and Responsibilities

Act as an AI and tech evangelist for the organization and a beacon of modern digital marketing best practice.
Become a vocal contributor to the future of the Newrez martech stack and go‑to‑market approaches.
Identify and communicate digital marketing opportunities through a customer‑first, data‑driven lens – translating insights into narratives that earn leadership and partner buy‑in.
Build and develop relationships across the organization – including Digital Marketing, the larger Commercial organization, Digital Product, and Originations – to diagnose business needs that can be addressed through new and evolved digital marketing approaches.
Key areas of opportunity include SEO/AEO/GEO, Paid Digital, and CRO.
Evaluate and prioritize opportunities to create an actionable roadmap of meaningful initiatives.
Develop business cases and establish success metrics to gain cross‑functional support.
Develop a measurement and experimentation framework to measure success – balancing quick wins with long‑term big bets to maximize resources and outcomes.
Directly lead select roadmap initiatives, while partnering cross‑functionally on others.
Monitor performance, surface insights, risks, and recommendations to improve outcomes.
Qualifications and Education Requirements

Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree (MBA or related field) preferred.
10+ years of progressive experience in digital marketing or related leadership roles, preferably within mortgage, consumer financial services, fintech, or enterprise‑level B2C/B2B environments.
Deep expertise in digital strategy across customer growth, engagement, and brand outcomes.
Strong understanding of marketing technology, marketing analytics, and experimental test design.
Experience managing large‑scale budgets, vendor relationships, and cross‑functional initiatives.
B2C experience is essential, with B2B (or B2B2C) preferred.

Passion and excitement around all things digital, AI, and innovation, with ability to balance worthwhile risks with long‑term outcomes.

Familiarity with compliance, privacy, and governance frameworks related to digital marketing and emerging technologies.
Work Environment and Physical Requirements

Working on‑site at assigned office location.
Regular and punctual attendance adhering to schedule established by leadership.
Flexibility to work occasional adjusted work schedules, overtime, and evening and/or weekend hours to meet deadlines or as business needs demand.
Working in a cubicle hub, maintaining focus on phone calls in a noisy environment within earshot of multiple other conversations.
Sedentary work in a stationary position at a cubicle for prolonged periods of time.
Constant repetitive motions required for operating a computer, such as typing and managing phone calls.
Constantly communicating effectively verbally in English, including accurately exchanging information with others following identification of correct procedures.
Compensation

Salary range: $119,600.00 – $219,120.00.
May include other elements such as medical, financial, various paid time off benefits, and a bonus based on individual and company performance (variable or annual).
Placement within the range will be based on skills, experience, qualifications, location, etc.
