Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior UNIX/Linux Shell Scripting Developer to design, develop, and maintain batch processing and automation solutions in a UNIX/Linux environment. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in shell scripting, system administration automation, and leading development efforts within an agile framework.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain shell scripts using Bash and Korn Shell (ksh)
Develop and implement batch processing solutions for automation of system administration tasks, data processing, and file operations
Analyze business and technical requirements to design efficient and scalable solutions
Execute and optimize SQL logic using SQL Plus in a UNIX/Linux environment
Monitor and troubleshoot batch jobs, scripts, and system processes
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support system enhancements and issue resolution
Lead and mentor small development teams within an agile project environment
Ensure code quality, performance, and adherence to best practices
Maintain technical documentation and support deployment processes
Required Qualifications
7+ years (84 months) of experience writing Bash and Korn Shell (ksh) scripts
7+ years of experience working within UNIX/Linux environments via command line
6+ years (72 months) of experience developing batch processing and automation solutions
6+ years of experience performing requirement analysis and solution design
5+ years (60 months) of experience leading development teams in an agile environment
3+ years (36 months) of experience using SQL Plus to execute SQL queries in UNIX/Linux
