Role: M365 SharePoint Engineer

Duration: 6 months

Location: Bethlehem, PA | Holmdel, NJ | NYC, NY | Remote

Rate : - $70 - $75/hr on W2(Inclusive all)

Location: Hybrid in either the NY, NY, Holmdel, NJ, or Bethlehem PA office. Will also consider remote candidates who are available to work EST business hours.

Position Summary:

The M365 SharePoint Engineer is responsible for the administration and operational support of SharePoint Online and OneDrive. This role ensures that content services are stable, secure, and well-governed, while enabling efficient collaboration across the organization. The position supports foundational content services, freeing engineering capacity for higher-value AI and automation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
• Administer SharePoint Online and OneDrive, including site provisioning, configuration, and lifecycle management
• Manage permissions governance and access controls across sites and document libraries
• Monitor and optimize storage utilization and data lifecycle policies
• Support integration between SharePoint, Teams, and broader M365 services
• Implement and maintain governance standards, including alignment with security and compliance requirements
• Troubleshoot and resolve platform issues impacting collaboration and content access
• Develop and maintain operational documentation and governance guidelines

Qualifications:
• 5+ years of experience with SharePoint Online and OneDrive administration
• Strong understanding of M365 collaboration architecture (Teams, Groups, SharePoint)
• Experience with governance, permissions models, and content lifecycle management
• Familiarity with Purview, retention policies, and compliance controls preferred
