POSITION TITLE: Lighting & Sound Head Advisor
LOCATION: High School
POSITION GOAL: Provide an organized activity so as to provide participants personal growth opportunity for achievement

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Split the following responsibilities with the Lighting & Sound Assistant Advisor

Attend training on light and sound systems boards.

Attend all after school events in the HS auditorium that require lights and/or sound. The calendar of events is maintained in FMX as well as the OJR HS Activities Calendar.

Organize and train student volunteers to assist at these events.

Work with the Fall Play, Musical, and Spring Showcase staff to support their needs.

Maintain equipment and facilitate repairs when needed.

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT

Per REA Agreement for the 2026-2027 school year- 4 units

Annual assignment appointed by the Board of School Directors as recommended by Administration.

According to the School District Policy Manual (available online at www.ojrsd.com ).
