Mapbox Search, Navigation & Data Specialist

We are seeking an experienced

Mapbox Specialist

with deep expertise in

search, navigation, and geospatial data

to design, implement, and optimize location-based features within our digital platforms. This role will focus on delivering accurate, high-performance mapping and routing experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and implement Mapbox-powered search, routing, and navigation solutions
Configure and optimize geocoding, place search, and POI services
Develop and manage geospatial datasets and custom map layers
Integrate real-time and static location data into applications
Optimize map performance, accuracy, and usability
Collaborate with engineering and product teams on location-based features
Troubleshoot and resolve mapping, routing, and data-quality issues
Required Qualifications:
Proven experience implementing Mapbox search, navigation, and data services
Strong understanding of geospatial data formats (GeoJSON, tilesets, vector tiles)
Experience with Mapbox APIs, SDKs, and Studio
Proficiency in JavaScript and modern web/mobile mapping frameworks
Experience optimizing location accuracy and routing performance
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with real-time location tracking systems
Knowledge of GIS tools and spatial analysis
Familiarity with cloud-based geospatial pipelines
