The Opportunity
As an expert in defense missions, your extensive industry knowledge and advisory skills are essential to solving complex problems and ensuring national security. In this role, you will collaborate with strategic deterrence thought leaders on projects for the United States Strategic Command, leveraging your expertise to assist operations personnel in the development and research of emerging capabilities. You will create mission‑forward solutions that matter while advancing your career.

Qualifications

5+ years of experience operating military communication systems, including satellite and terrestrial communications such as MILSTAR, AEHF, and VHF, UHF, or HF radios

5+ years of experience with NC2 and NC3 missions

Ability to travel up to 25% of the time

TS/SCI clearance

Bachelor’s degree

Nice to Have

Experience supporting USSTRATCOM J3 missions

Experience with operational or developmental testing

Experience with computer network engineering

Experience supporting government mobile operations activities such as Technical Performance Evaluations, Staff Assistance Visits, and Integrated Mission Area Training

Master’s degree

Clearance
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and must meet the eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is required.

Compensation & Benefits
Salary is determined by location, individual skill and experience, and contract needs. The projected compensation range for this position is $86,800.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD). Benefits include health, life, disability, financial, and retirement plans, paid leave, professional development, tuition assistance, work‑life programs, and dependent care. Full‑time and part‑time employees working at least 20 hours per week are eligible for the full benefits package.
