Job Description
Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Managing MMA sales by developing a business plan that covers sales, revenue, and expense controls
Conducting inventory assessments, maintaining stockroom organization, and monitoring inventory levels to prevent shortages
Developing new customers and enhancing business relationships
Maintains and reports sales information in a timely and accurate manner.
Communicates customer requirements and or opportunities to Chemical Division Sales Director
Understands customers end markets and sales strategies
Continually communicates customer needs to internal counterparts to ensure timely and accurate solutions to increase customer satisfaction.
Increases industry awareness and knowledge by attending appropriate industry conferences and company meetings.
Qualifications
Qualified candidates must have:
Bachelor’s degree from a 4-year accredited school (preferred)
Around 10 years of domestic sales/local sales/import in the chemical industry
At least 5 years of sales experience at a chemical distribution company (sales experience for solvents is preferred)
Able to travel domestic and international (business trips)
Able to create new opportunities and convert opportunities to revenue in sales
Resourceful and persistent in prospecting prospective clients
