Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, you will be a key contributor to plant uptime and mechanical integrity.MissionOwn the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of mechanical equipment throughout the facility—safely, efficiently, and with craftsmanship.What You Will DoUse blueprints, schematics, and technical instructions to scope and complete workInstall, assemble, align, test, diagnose, and repair plant mechanical assetsMaintain conveyors, hoists, lifts, power shafting, pulleys, and related componentsDismantle, move, install, and commission machinery and mechanical systemsExecute on-site fabrication: cutting, drilling, bending, burning, and framing changesPerform equipment inspections and precision alignment tasksSafely operate overhead and mobile cranes, hoists, rollers, dollies, and hand toolsApply welding skills to perform and support equipment repairsKeep work areas orderly and compliant with safety standardsWork assigned schedules to meet production requirementsQualificationsSolid industrial/manufacturing mechanical maintenance experienceWelding and fabrication proficiencyAbility to interpret mechanical drawings and technical documentationHands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, and rigging equipmentDemonstrated safety focus and PPE adherenceWork EnvironmentIndustrial manufacturing plant with a fast paceExposure to moderate to extreme climate conditionsConfined spaces and elevated work areasPhysical DemandsFrequent standing, walking, climbing, crawling, kneeling, bending, twisting, and balancingComfort working at heights and in confined spaces; respirator use may be requiredLift and carry up to 100 lbsRepetitive motion of hands and wristsUse of both arms above and below shoulder levelAbility to remain in the same position for extended periodsExposure to dust, fumes, gases, chemicals, and extreme weatherPPE RequiredSafety glasses, steel-toe boots, hard hat, hearing protection, and respirator when necessary.
