Key Responsibilities
Define and execute the visual style for multiplayer VR experiences, ensuring consistency across characters, environments, and UI.
Produce high‑quality 3D assets (models, textures, rigging, animation) using Blender and Maya, optimized for real‑time performance in Unity and Unreal Engine.
Develop custom shaders and material pipelines to achieve immersive visual effects while meeting frame‑rate targets for VR headsets.
Collaborate closely with designers, engineers, and product leads to integrate art assets, iterate on gameplay feedback, and maintain a smooth development pipeline.
Mentor junior artists, establish best practices, and enforce asset naming, LOD, and memory‑budget standards.
Requirements
5+ years of professional 3D art experience, with a strong portfolio of VR or AR projects.
Proficiency in Unity and/or Unreal Engine for VR, including experience with Oculus, Vive, or similar platforms.
Advanced skills in Blender, Maya, or comparable 3D modeling and animation tools.
Deep understanding of shader programming, lighting, and performance optimization for real‑time VR.
Excellent communication, teamwork, and ability to lead artistic direction in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment.
