Description and Responsibilities
RSM Design is seeking an experienced Project Director and EGD designer to be a part of our team. The candidate will assist in leading a team of designers through all phases of the project, from project visioning through implementation. Candidate must have proven project management experience with project planning software in addition to design expertise.

Requirements and Skills

8‑10 years of experience in the experiential/environmental graphic design field or a related design field.

Experience in the design and development of signage, wayfinding, and placemaking packages with Adobe Creative Suite.

3D rendering skills in SketchUp or similar required.

Experience leading projects and managing a team of designers.

Collaborative team member with strong communication skills, capable of working in an interdisciplinary, fast‑paced environment and autonomously.

Client presentation skills and the ability to manage client expectations with clear communication and confident leadership.

Willingness and ability to travel to out‑of‑town project locations occasionally.

Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, architecture, or a related field.

Willingness to work in the studio at either our Los Angeles or San Clemente locations.

Salary commensurate with experience and ability level. This is a full‑time, in‑person position with benefits.
