Position Summary - The Athletic Digital Media Coordinator works directly with marketing, communications, and applicable sport programs to create high-end graphic design and video projects utilized in recruitment and promotion of student-athletes.
Essential Duties - Work collaboratively with the Office of Athletic Communications to design digital media materials for the athletic department, including but not limited to graphics and videos, with a focus on social media. Assist with the creation of creative content through photography and/or videography for social media to engage with fans. Develop new ways to promote La Salle's varsity athletic programs while taking advantage of emerging technology, using current graphic trends and techniques within the sports design industry as a guideline. Serve as a media contact for Olympic sports. Communicate and cooperate with Associate Athletic Director on a regular basis on all developments with public relations potential. Respond appropriately with the media so as not to demean student-athletes, the University, the Conference and all parties connected. Immediately report anything controversial that may attract media attention to a supervisor. Remain knowledgeable and in full compliance with the rules, regulations, and philosophies of the NCAA, various conference affiliations, and La Salle University. Immediately report any potential violations, eligibility problems, rules infractions, or disciplinary action of student-athletes immediately to a supervisor. Support La Salle University's educational philosophy and the goals of the Athletic Department as a loyal, energetic, and highly visible University representative. Accept no speaking engagement for money, endorsements, or any other outside employment at any time without prior approval of your supervisor and/or the Athletic Director (or their designee).
Secondary Responsibilities - Perform other work-related duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications - Bachelor's degree. Must be proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, specifically Photoshop and Premiere Pro. Successful background check clearances including a PA Criminal Records Check, FBI Fingerprinting Check, and PA Child Abuse Clearance Check. Knowledge of and commitment to the mission of La Salle University.
