Role Summary
The Studio Coordinator supports the world‑class CorePower Yoga studio experience by coordinating operations, upholding health and safety standards, and partnering with the Studio Manager to pursue membership growth, retail sales, community outreach, recruitment, and programming enrollment.
Responsibilities
Studio Presence and Student Experience
Act as ambassador of CorePower values, inspiring them in others
Support Studio Manager with company and studio goals: membership growth, retail sales, community outreach, teacher and SET recruitment, programming enrollment
Commit to a flexible schedule of 18‑29 hours per week in studio; support operations coordination and teaching (if certified)
Remain flexible within the hourly commitment to serve the studio and team
Act as point of contact for students and staff when Studio Manager absent, up to 20 hours per week
Maintain studio supply inventory for cleanliness, locker room amenities, towels, programming materials, etc.
Engage with the studio community, greet students, foster community at the front desk
Support teachers with POS and pre/post class duties
Health, Safety, and Cleanliness Protocol
Uphold high standards for cleanliness, safety, heat, humidity, music, and a clutter‑free environment
Communicate Smart Health Protocol to students upon entry and throughout the visit
Act as an extension of the Studio Experience Team (SET): clean studio, stock amenities, enforce cleanliness protocol
Support SET team: interview applicants, hire, schedule shifts, substitute for no‑shows; train, discipline, and provide orientation
Studio Systems Coordination
Liaise between Studio Manager and teaching/SET teams; coordinate systems such as:
Point of Sales (POS): sign students, sell packages, resolve account issues
Online Reservation System: follow up on late cancel fees, waitlist, and student support
Subbing Application: train and support usage for the teaching team
HRIS Application: train and support usage for the teaching and SET team
Help Desk: submit facilities tickets and communicate follow‑up to Studio Manager
Teaching Schedule
Teach a minimum of six branded CorePower Yoga classes per week and support the studio by subbing additional classes as needed
Skills & Qualifications
Demonstrate CorePower values
Excellent oral communication, professionalism, and interpersonal skills
Customer‑service experience required
Completion of a Yoga Alliance certified 200‑hour program preferred
Yoga Sculpt teacher training preferred
Comfortable with studio systems: HRIS, intranet, POS, scheduling, payroll
Ability to build relationships with diverse personalities and seniority levels
Thrives in fast‑paced environments and prioritizes multiple deadlines
Self‑starter who takes initiative and embraces new projects
Proficiency in Microsoft Office: Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel
Excellent time‑management skills
College degree (BA/BS) preferred
Availability, Compensation & Benefits
Availability must match business and leadership schedules: morning, evening, weekend, and some holiday flexibility required
Must be able to move around the studio, crouch, reach, and lift up to 25 lbs
If certified to teach, must step in to teach with little to no notice when scheduled
Compensation: $21.25 per hour
