Position Summary
The Recruitment & Digital Engagement Coordinator leads all recruitment and digital engagement efforts for the College of Allied Health Professions. Working in partnership with the Senior Director for Enrollment Management and Student Affairs, this role focuses on implementing strategies that align with CAHP and UNMC enrollment goals, while expanding awareness of all 14+ programmatic offerings of the college.

Required Qualifications

3 years of Recruitment and/or marketing experience.

Strong customer service skills, excellent organizational skills, ability to work independently, make sound decisions, resolve issues and conflicts, work effectively with diverse groups of people.

Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, ability to multi-task and maintain a professional demeanor under pressure and in challenging situations.

Ability to problem solve by critically evaluating alternative courses of action and arriving at solutions that best for both the unit/college and UNMC.

Working knowledge of related technological resources/software.

Demonstrated style of participatory leadership that fosters a climate of respect and collegiality to include competency regarding conflict management, supervision, mentoring and team building.

Demonstrated understanding of regulatory framework and internal controls and ability to apply them within the business unit/college.

Knowledge of when to elevate an issue to a supervisor.

Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, Microsoft PowerPoint.

Preferred Qualifications

3-5 years experience in post-secondary academic setting; allied health or academic health center would be beneficial.

Proficient with social media platforms.

Computing skills including student information and personnel systems, financial aid accounting and budgeting systems, database development and management, web development skills and Internet competency.

Proficient in Microsoft Access, Microsoft Outlook.

Experience with PeopleSoft, Canvas/Other course management application, Customer Relationship Management software.
