Description
TeleSolv Consulting is seeking an experienced Program Manager to lead and oversee conference planning, meeting logistics, and event support operations for a federal government program. This position supports the federal government. The Program Manager plays a critical role in ensuring the successful planning, coordination, execution, and quality management of conferences, meetings, and stakeholder engagement events. This position provides leadership to event planning teams, oversees logistical operations, manages schedules and deliverables, and serves as the primary point of coordination to ensure all event requirements are completed on time and in accordance with Government standards. The Program Manager is responsible for maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction, quality control, and operational excellence across multiple concurrent projects. This position supports Government programs that require professional conference planning, meeting facilitation, stakeholder engagement, and logistical coordination services. The Program Manager ensures successful event execution while managing personnel, resources, schedules, and deliverables in a fast‑paced environment.

Responsibilities

Lead and manage conference planning, meeting support, and event logistics activities.

Oversee and coordinate teams responsible for event planning, registration support, and meeting facilitation.

Manage schedules, deliverables, and project timelines to ensure successful event execution.

Coordinate briefings, conferences, teleconferences, and stakeholder meetings.

Review and oversee the preparation of reports, presentations, correspondence, meeting materials, and briefing documents.

Ensure meeting materials, attendee resources, and event documentation are completed and distributed in accordance with project requirements.

Monitor conference planning activities and provide routine status updates regarding readiness and progress.

Coordinate hotel accommodations, conference facilities, travel arrangements, and venue logistics as required.

Oversee event registration processes and attendee communications.

Ensure audio‑visual equipment, meeting technology, and event resources are properly coordinated and operational.

Review meeting minutes and conference documentation for accuracy and completeness.

Identify issues, develop corrective action plans, and resolve logistical challenges affecting event execution.

Ensure quality standards, customer satisfaction objectives, and contractual requirements are consistently achieved.

Manage subcontractor performance and coordinate resources necessary to support project objectives.

Perform additional duties as assigned in support of program and operational requirements.

Qualifications

Must be a U.S. Citizen.

Bachelor’s degree required.

Minimum of ten (10) years of experience managing events, conferences, or large‑scale meeting operations.

Minimum of five (5) years of experience leading and managing teams.

Experience coordinating conferences, briefings, teleconferences, meetings, and stakeholder engagements.

Demonstrated ability to review quality documents, reports, presentations, and briefing materials.

Strong experience with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Experience preparing, editing, and finalizing correspondence, reports, presentations, and executive briefings.

Excellent organizational, leadership, and project management skills.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.

Experience monitoring project progress and ensuring timely completion of deliverables.

Ability to identify problems, implement corrective actions, and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality performance standards.

Background Investigation

The government is essentially looking to confirm that you are generally in good financial standing, up to date on your tax filings, rehire eligible with your prior employers, and have adhered to any federal restrictions on illegal drug use, including marijuana, in addition to other checks related on your character and trust worthiness.
