Fox Television Stations is hiring: News Video Editor in Tampa

Responsibilities

Edit video for assigned shows and reporter packages.
Use editorial and visual judgment.
Tune in incoming feeds from satellites and ENG sources.
Create and add special effects to stories.
Meet broadcast deadlines.
Possess working knowledge of nonlinear editing and newsroom computer systems.
Qualifications

Minimum two years of experience as a video editor in a television news department.
Familiarity with Edius and Bit Central is a plus.
Strong writing, producing and photography skills are encouraged.
Ability to work weekends, holidays and overtime as needed.
Benefits and Compensation

Pay range: $25.96-26.87 per hour. Eligible for medical, dental, vision, insurance, 401(k), paid time off and other benefits. Union employees receive benefits per collective bargaining agreement.
