The Production Supervisor will oversee the daily operations of the production floor, ensuring efficient manufacturing processes, adherence to safety and quality standards, and effective team leadership. This role will focus on optimizing production output, troubleshooting issues, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Production Supervisor Responsibilities:

Oversee production output, ensuring efficiency and quality standards.

Supervise daily shift activities, enforcing safety and operating procedures.

Identify and implement process improvements with the Shift Superintendent.

Lead shift meetings to communicate goals, safety updates, and challenges.

Assist with equipment troubleshooting and maintenance coordination.

Manage inventory levels to ensure continuous production flow.

Train, mentor, and cross-train employees for skill development.

Conduct root cause analysis to resolve production issues.

Complete production reports and documentation accurately.

Collaborate with maintenance to minimize downtime.

Drive continuous improvement initiatives to boost productivity and reduce waste.

Requirements

High School Diploma/GED with 3–5 years of supervisory experience in food manufacturing, or a Bachelor’s Degree in lieu of experience

Experience managing multiple priorities while fostering a culture of accountability and execution

Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills

Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

Knowledge of manufacturing best practices, safety, and quality control

Proficiency in Microsoft Office

Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills a plus
