Senior Advisor, Marketing – Customer Experience Team, Southern California Edison (SCE) is responsible for developing and implementing innovative marketing strategies to support income‑qualified programs and help customers manage their bills. This role designs customer journeys, collaborates with cross‑functional teams, and leverages data‑driven insights and SCE’s Martech stack to enhance customer engagement and campaign performance.

Responsibilities

Oversee company marketing efforts, delivering brand and strategic messaging to internal and external audiences, including key campaign design and promotional strategies.

Develop and orchestrate marketing‑technology driven campaigns across program portfolios, leading both marketing and technical requirements for IT that influence short‑term and long‑term marketing technology strategies.

Ensure the brand is delivered consistently, cohesively, and compellingly across all communications vehicles, brand guidelines, messaging, and strategic direction internally and externally.

Build critical relationships with corporate and industry media organizations, communities, trade associations, and other affiliated non‑industry organizations to position the company positively.

Drive the creation and management of compelling marketing campaigns across multiple channels within the organization.

Analyze spending and assess ROI for promotional activities—including digital marketing, advertising, collateral, and internal and external events—identifying and recommending improvements to maximize ROI.

Define future‑state marketing plans to support new and emerging programs.

Design and implement strategic marketing plans for SCE’s programs and services, with a focus on B2B lead generation marketing and sales programs.

Develop multi‑channel go‑to‑market implementation plans grounded in strategic channel/media planning and execution.

Ensure the protection of all physical, financial, and cybersecurity assets, properly accessing and managing private customer data, proprietary information, and other highly sensitive information with integrity and confidentiality.

Minimum Qualifications

Ten or more years of experience in marketing communications.

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or higher in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.

Five or more years of experience creating and implementing personalized customer journeys using marketing automation platforms.

Proven track record of developing marketing strategies that drive customer engagement.

Familiarity with Adobe Experience Platform, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, or equivalent enterprise‑grade multi‑channel marketing platforms.

Experience managing vendor relationships to enhance marketing efforts.

Strong background and experience in multi‑channel marketing strategy and end‑to‑end campaign planning, with a focus on data‑driven insights and analytics across media channels such as email, social media, digital advertising, content marketing, and traditional media.

Advanced understanding of customer segmentation and targeting strategies.

Additional Information

This position’s work mode is hybrid. The employee will report to an SCE facility for a set number of days with the option to work remotely on the remaining days. Unless otherwise noted, employees are required to work and reside in the state of California.
