Position Overview
We are a growing mental health group practice providing psychotherapy and psychological assessment services to diverse clients. We are looking for a part‑time Referral Marketing Specialist / Community Outreach Liaison to help us build and maintain professional referral relationships with local providers and community organizations.

The Referral Marketing Specialist will support our practice by identifying, contacting, and building relationships with referral sources, including psychiatrist offices, primary care providers, pediatricians, hospitals, schools, community clinics, and other healthcare or community‑based organizations. This role is ideal for someone who is professional, personable, organized, and comfortable representing a mental health practice in the community.

Responsibilities

Identify potential referral sources, including psychiatrists, physicians, hospitals, schools, clinics, and community organizations

Conduct outreach through email, phone calls, LinkedIn, and in‑person visits when appropriate

Introduce our practice’s therapy and assessment services to potential referral partners

Help schedule introductory Zoom meetings or phone calls with referral sources

Maintain and update a referral outreach tracker

Follow up with referral sources in a professional and timely manner

Assist with developing outreach materials, email templates, and simple marketing strategies

Track outreach activity, responses, meetings scheduled, and referral outcomes

Represent the practice in a warm, ethical, and professional manner

Qualifications

Experience in healthcare marketing, behavioral health outreach, provider relations, community outreach, sales, or business development preferred

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Comfortable making outreach calls and sending professional emails

Organized, detail‑oriented, and able to track outreach activity consistently

Familiarity with mental health, healthcare, or private practice settings is a plus

Knowledge of Bay Area healthcare or community resources is preferred

Ability to work independently and take initiative

Professional judgment and understanding of confidentiality are required

Compensation
Compensation will be discussed based on experience. We are open to hourly, contract, or project‑based arrangements.
