Position Summary
We are seeking a creative and strategic Newsletter Writer to own the voice of our organization. You will be responsible for crafting compelling narratives that engage our global community, highlight our milestones, and drive action for our local and international programs.

Key Responsibilities

Content Creation: Write, edit, and produce high‑quality weekly/monthly newsletters that align with BME’s mission and tone.

Storytelling: Interview volunteers and project leads to turn internal milestones—like reaching new community goals—into engaging public stories.

Multi‑Platform Strategy: Adapt newsletter content for distribution across our 20 social media channels to maximize engagement.

Growth Tracking: Monitor open rates and audience feedback to continuously refine our communication strategy.

Skills

Persuasive Writing: Excellent written communication skills with the ability to inspire a diverse audience.

Editorial Eye: Strong editing skills with a sharp attention to detail and brand consistency.

Organization: Ability to manage content calendars and meet consistent deadlines.

Tech Savvy: Familiarity with newsletter platforms (e.g., Mailchimp, Constant Contact) or a willingness to learn.
